The Huon Valley PCYC NDIS Empowerment Program provides individualised support designed to help participants build skills, confidence, independence and meaningful connections within their community.

Our person-centred approach focuses on each participant’s individual strengths, interests, needs and goals. Support can be delivered individually or through group-based activities and may include:

• Building confidence and independence
• Developing social and communication skills
• Community access and participation
• Building everyday and practical life skills
• Health, fitness and recreational activities
• Developing positive routines
• Exploring interests and trying new activities
• Building friendships and social connections
• Working towards individual NDIS goals

Participants have access to the welcoming and inclusive environment at Huon Valley PCYC, with opportunities to take part in activities both within the centre and in the wider community.

Our team works alongside participants, families, carers and support networks to provide meaningful support that encourages choice, participation and greater independence.

Who this service is for

NDIS participants seeking individual or group-based support to build confidence, independence, social skills, community participation and everyday living skills.
