Our programs and services include:

• Youth Drop-In Centre – a free, safe and welcoming after-school space for young people, offering food, activities, games, social connection and opportunities to connect with local support services.

• Parents & Carers Club – a free weekly program providing parents, carers and young children with a relaxed and welcoming space to connect with others, enjoy activities and access community support.

• Powerforce – a supported health and fitness program for young people focused on building confidence, healthy routines, wellbeing and positive engagement with physical activity.

• Children’s University – supporting local children to participate in learning experiences outside the classroom, build confidence and have their achievements recognised.

• NDIS Empowerment Program – individualised support focused on capacity building, independence, social skills, confidence, community participation and working towards personal goals.

• Recreation and wellbeing activities – including our 24/7 gym, Fun Factory indoor playground, arcade, futsal, boxing, pickleball, line dancing and a range of other sporting and recreational activities.

• Community connections and support – we work alongside local organisations and service providers to help people connect with appropriate support, employment opportunities, programs and services within the community.

• Facility and room hire – spaces are available for community groups, service providers, programs, meetings, activities and events.

Who this service is for

Children, young people, adults, parents, carers, families, people with disability and other community members in the Huon Valley.

Some programs have specific age or eligibility requirements.

Cost

Costs vary depending on the program or activity. A number of our youth and community support programs are free. Contact Huon Valley PCYC or visit our website for current fees and program information.

Saturday & Sunday: Open for Fun Factory Bookings only

How this service is delivered

• Face-to-face

  Most Huon Valley PCYC programs and services are delivered in person at our facility. Programs include individual and group-based activities, recreational programs, community support and opportunities to connect with visiting local service providers.

  Some programs require bookings or registration, while others are available on a drop-in basis. Please contact our team for information about accessing a particular program or service.
