The Tasmanian School Canteen Association (TSCA) was formed in 1994 to promote and facilitate the provision of a nutritious and healthy food service in Tasmanian school canteens.
Hobart City Mission currently operates four shared Support Independent Living homes, and supports two participants in their own home. We provide 24 hour on-site, supported accommodation for residents with physical or intellectual disabilities. These homes are located around the greater Hobart area, and provide an support based on a person's individual needs.
We provide limited emergency relief - the FoodShed opens 2 - 3pm weekdays with fresh produce (cost recovery & some free supplies) and free bread. Bread is left in trolley outside FoodShed from 2pm till late. Ask inside House during office hours (9am-4pm) for limited emergency relief long-life supplies.

City Mission Op Shops provides quality second hand items at affordable prices. Proceeds from our Op Shops support the work of Hobart City Mission, helping those in our community who need it most.
Through no fault of their own, some children are unable to live with their parents. But they still need a home. Foster Care provides a loving home to children and young people who have suffered abuse and neglect, and who are unable to remain safely at home.
CatholicCare's Home and Housed program is for people 65 years and older who would like support with issues and challenges relating to staying in their home, or finding a new home.
The Link is a free, confidential service for young Tasmanians aged 12-25 dealing with issues such as alcohol and other drug use, pregnancy, housing, nutrition, sex, and health (just to name a few).
