Disability Services by Aurora

Aurora Disability provides vocational training, basic education, learning and life skills for people with disabilities. We also provide respite for families and carers. Aurora provides for over 350 clients, their families and carers, with an amazing workforce complemented by approximately 50 volunteers who ensure the ongoing success of our programs.

StrokeLine's health professionals provide information and advice on stroke prevention, treatment and recovery.

enableme Stroke support

enableme brings together stroke information, videos, tools and conversation with other survivors and carers.

Huntington’s Disease Support

Huntington’s Disease (HD) is a degenerative brain disorder that results in the progressive loss of mental and physical capacities. We provide information, education, advocacy and support for people with Huntington's disease and their families.

Hobart City Mission – Supported Independent Living

Hobart City Mission currently operates four shared Support Independent Living homes, and supports two participants in their own home. We provide 24 hour on-site, supported accommodation for residents with physical or intellectual disabilities. These homes are located around the greater Hobart area, and provide an support based on a person's individual needs.

The Brain Injury Association of Tasmania (BIAT) is the peak body for people living with or affected by brain injury in Tasmania.

Helping people with an injury, illness or disability find and keep a job. This is a free service for job seekers with disability, injury or health condition who require supportive and personalised assistance to get in to work.
