Support for Senior Migrants in Launceston

The Good Neighbour Council Launceston (GNC) provides Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) services to senior migrants aged 65 years and over in the Launceston region.

A Day Centre is operating on Friday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm from the Greek Community Hall, 2 Norwich Street, South Launceston.

The Day Centre offers groups activities, low impact exercise classes, outings, entertainment and aged care information sessions. Meals are provided and transport can be arranged to and from the venue.

Individual support is provided by our dedicated coordinator and includes home visits and assistance with shopping, appointments, visiting friends etc.

Senior migrants aged 65 years and over and registered with MyAged Care.

Morning Tea, light luncheon and refreshments at the Day Centre $10
Transport to the Day Centre and outings $5
