Quitline
The Tasmanian Quitline 13 7848 is a free, confidential, evidenced based telephone counselling service based in Hobart and operating Mondays to Fridays from 9am to 5pm. We provide information and support to people who smoke – at any stage in their quitting journey. From just thinking about it to making a quit attempt, as well as to those who want to make another quit attempt after a relapse.
Quitline support can increase your chances of successfully quitting smoking.
Quitline is delivered by Quit Tasmania (a program of Cancer Council Tasmania) whose vision is a Tasmania free from tobacco and its harmful effects.
We also provide information and resources to the wider community, including health and community service providers, to help them address smoking and build supportive smoke-free environments.
