Primary Health by SETAC

Our Registered Nurses and Aboriginal Health Worker Practitioners work in a community setting, and they play a critical role in disease prevention and control to keep our people healthy by providing proactive care and health promotion.

SETACs primary health services include:

·         access to secondary and tertiary health services and community services

·         antenatal care services

·         child and adult immunisation

·         child health services

·         client/community assistance and advocacy on health-related matters

·         health crisis intervention and referral

·         health promotion programs

·         postnatal care services

·         prevention, detection and management of chronic conditions

·         well-persons’ screening
