Parenting Separately can help you to identify and develop useful strategies and help communicate more effectively with each other.

Parenting Separately can also give you information and assistance on your individual situation, so you can best support your children’s needs.

Through six individual sessions and a workshop series you work through a number of areas in a highly supportive and safe environment, leaving you in a child-focused place where you can resolve conflict and communicate better.

Services provided include:
– Individual counselling for parents, focused on psycho-education and improving the co-parenting relationship.
– Educational workshops.
– Referral to other services and programs, such as family dispute resolution or children’s counselling.

Who this service is for

Couples who have separated and who have children. Parenting can be challenging after separating, especially when there is disagreement and conflict between parents.

Parenting Separately is also offered to significant others such as grandparents and carers.
