There are over 50 Lions clubs across Tasmania. Where there’s a need, there’s a Lion. Lions are friends, family and neighbours who share a core belief: community is what we make it.

We assist with local community fundraising for special causes and help with development and building of local parks, community venues and sporting centres.

Membership is open to all people of the community in good standing.

Clubs may either provide service or raise money for their community.

100% of funds donated by the public through fundraising are directed to the project for which they are intended.

Who this service is for

Lions undertake projects to improve the quality of life of people in need. We undertake vision and health screenings, build parks, support eye hospitals, award scholarships, assist youth, provide drug awareness, and provide help in time of disasters and bushfires. If there is a need, there is a Lions Club nearby.
