LGBTIQA+ Specialist Services
Working It Out is Tasmania’s only specialist service for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer and questioning (LGBTIQA+) Tasmanians, their families, friends and service providers. Working It Out provides education and training, individual & group support for people negotiating their sexuality, gender identity or intersex status, and for their parents and partners of trans folks.

Cost
Support services are free.
Workplace training is fee for service in most cases.
School support is free for staff, students and families.
Opening Hours
Weekdays – 9am-5:00pm (or by prior arrangement)
Accessibility Support
Hobart’s office has limited off street parking and level access at the rear, and an accessible toilet.
Launceston’s office is accessible via a lift.

Visit our offices to access this service, but it’s always best to call or email to make an appointment for one-to-one support.
Most groups are held monthly, with some being fortnightly. Again, call or email to confirm when the next groups are being held. -
