Launceston Head to Health/Medicare Mental Health Centre
Launceston Head to Health/Medicare Mental Health Centre is a free service that provides short to medium term mental health support for people over the age of 18. Family and friends of people experiencing mental health concerns can also seek support from the service. Mental health trained professionals will assist individuals by providing mental health support and assistance accessing other appropriate services. Services can be provided onsite or via telehealth.
Supports available: Immediate short to medium term mental health support, Brief interventions and psychoeducation, Peer support, Referrals, Family and carer support.
Eligibility: People can be referred via self-referral, referral by a GP or other support service, or family and friends with the person’s consent.

Monday to Friday 9am - 7:30pm
Saturday, Sunday, and Public Holidays 10am - 2pm
