JumpStart Rental Support Program

JumpStart is our rental support program in Tasmania for 18-24 year olds who are ready for independent living and have started vocational education or training.

JumpStart is a supported program where participants live in a private rental and receive tailored employment and property management support based on their individual needs.

If eligible, we’ll support you into housing and provide assistance with a fixed rental subsidy.

If needed, we can also provide support with the skills required for independent living and employment.

At the end of the program, you will have stable employment and a rental history, enabling you to enter the private rental market on your own.

If eligible, we can assist with up to $50 per week to help you afford a suitable rental property in Tasmania.
