Gamblers Help
A confidential service available to anyone in Tasmania with concerns related to problem gambling.
The service provides information, education and support for individuals, their partners and family members.
Strategies may include individual, relationship and family counselling and self-exclusions from gambling venues.
Gamblers Help counselling is available at Hobart, Launceston, and Outreach venues in the south and north-east of the state.
Key Outcomes
The Gamblers Help program can assist you in the following ways:
– If you or someone you care about has been affected by gambling, you can get free personal or
family counselling through this service.
– We can assist you to arrange a ‘self-exclusion order’ to bar you from gambling areas in
Tasmania.
– We can hold education workshops in local communities about the impact of problem gambling

Anyone with concerns related to problem gambling.
Our approach is to focus on what you need, respecting your choice and allowing you to decide what you want to discuss and what you want the outcome to be.
Cost
This is a free service offered in partnership with Anglicare Tasmania and funded by the Tasmanian Government through the Community Support Levy.
