Our counsellors can provide information about:

• Your options for dealing with debt
• Negotiating with people you owe money to
• Your rights and responsibilities as a consumer
• Accessing your superannuation
• Bankruptcy and its alternatives
• Referral to legal services if needed
• Money management and budgeting.

Financial counsellors are available on our telephone helpline between 9.30 am to 4.30 pm each weekday. 1800 007 007.

You can also meet face-to-face with a counsellor.

  Financial counsellors also make regular visits to Huonville, Bridgewater, Rokeby, New Norfolk, George Town, Scottsdale, Exeter, Beaconsfield, Ravenswood, Deloraine, West Tamar, St Marys, St Helens, Smithton and Tasmanian prisons.
