The FDR service provides confidential information, support, referral and Dispute Resolution (mediation) in relation to:
– property settlement
– financial matters
– disputes between family members including Elder Mediation
– parenting arrangements

Who this service is for

Anyone can contact Relationships Australia Tasmania with the view of entering into mediation or dispute resolution with another party. However, it is really important to make sure that Family Dispute Resolution is appropriate for your situation.

Cost

FDR involving children is funded by the Australian Government so, in one of our programs, fees are waived for a specific number of sessions. Following this, fees are charged.

The Mediation Service is a fee-for-service program. Any concerns about your ability to pay the fee can be discussed with your dispute resolution practitioner (mediator) please let us know if you have a concession card.

  Outreach Dispute Resolution and Mediation Services are available at the Huonville Community Health Centre on the first and third Monday of the month at 7 – 9 Sale Street Huonville.
