Depending on the service provider you access, you may be offered additional support, such as help with other financial pressures, referrals, or connection to other services.

• Are experiencing financial hardship and struggling to pay energy bills
• Are at risk of energy disconnection
• Need short-term financial assistance

How this service is delivered

• Face-to-face

  Local support through community organisations
  Support is delivered through approved service providers across Tasmania, each working toward positive social outcomes by reducing disadvantage and strengthening community wellbeing.
  Once you have secured your appointment, a worker will speak with you to understand your circumstances and determine whether you meet the Energy Hardship Fund (EHF) criteria. If you are eligible, they will apply the EHF assistance with your energy provider. This visit could also be a good opportunity for you to enquire about any other support you may need.
