Dress for Success
Dress for Success Tasmania provides clothing and styling advice for women seeking to enter or re-enter the workforce or who require more formal clothing for a range of other situations such as appearances in court, government meetings or any other circumstances when access to our clothing removes barriers and increases participation in the community.
Dress for Success Tasmania also provides a comprehensive career support program building skills, knowledge and confidence to assist women in achieving their employment or study goal. This includes guidance and review of resumes, tips for writing job applications, interview preparation and career support workshops.
Interview Styling: We provide clothing to help women put their best foot forward at interview. You will take away a complete outfit which is yours to keep, to leave you feeling confident and ready to walk into your next interview.
Employment Styling: If you have been successful at interview, or already have a job, but need some extra support with clothing for work, you can visit us for an Employment Styling. This capsule wardrobe provides you with a week’s worth of clothing and is yours to keep at no cost to you.
Career Support: We can support you to review and build a resume or put together a job application. We can also support you to prepare for your upcoming interview, providing sample questions and mock interviews. This is done on an individual basis either virtually, via email or face to face.
Event Styling: If you have a significant event coming up, for example a graduation, court appearance or interview for rental housing we can provide you with an appropriate outfit. All clothing is provided at no cost and is yours to keep.
Style & Send: If you can’t come to us, we can post an outfit to your home. We will put together an outfit for you based on the information you provide. This will be directly sent to your door via the post.
