Down Syndrome Support
Down Syndrome Tasmania’s mission is to encourage and provide support for people with Down syndrome to achieve their goals.
We advise the community of the positive role that people with Down syndrome can play within society. We also provide advocacy and inclusion.
We have a range of resources to support families and expecting parents. Our prenatal fact sheet provides easy-to-understand and balanced information for families or parents considering prenatal testing.
We also have a range of resources supporting people with Down syndrome. You can find a wide range of information and resources about Down syndrome on our Resource Hub, from birth through to adulthood and later in life.

Who this service is for
People with Down syndrome, their families and friends. parents and/or guardians of children and adults with Down syndrome; and professionals, or persons, interested in the welfare of people with Down syndrome generally.
