Disability Advocacy
​Citizen Advocacy Launceston is a not for profit, independent, small community based organisation situated in Launceston Tasmania.
Citizen Advocacy involves a member of the community being carefully matched with a person with a disability who may have few people in their lives that are not paid to be there, are vulnerable, has unmet needs, and are sometimes disconnected from their local community.
Citizen Advocates strive to represent the interests of this person as if they were their own by standing before, behind or beside that person to assist them to become less isolated, lonely, at risk and become more engaged in community life.
