Curraghmore is a Supported Independent Living (SIL) accommodation in the heart of Devonport which provides a nurturing and empowering environment for residents as part of a Mental Health Supported Living Program (NDIS).

Residents have NDIS funding for one of the following supports:

• Supported Independent Living (SIL)
• Individualised Living Option (ILO)
• Medium-term Accommodation (MTA)
• Short-term Accommodation including respite (STA)

The beautifully designed facility boasts three wings, each offering a comfortable home for up to four residents, complete with private bedrooms featuring ensuite bathrooms and shared living and kitchen spaces.

Supports available

Mental Health Support Workers – available 24/7, including overnight wake shift

Daily Living Skills – personalised assistance to enhance daily living skills including cooking, cleaning, budgeting, medication routines, and lifestyle decisions.

Building Independence – fostering of residents’ independence, emotion management, and meaningful connections with others.

Community Integration and Transport – encourage residents to explore and connect with the community.  For residents with transport funding as part of their NDIS package, we can provide access to a vehicle to support their needs.

Who this service is for

The service provided at Currahmore is for people who live with mental ill-health and have received NDIS funding (mental health) for one or more of the following supports:

• Supported Independent Living (SIL)
• Individualised Living Option (ILO)
• Medium-term Accommodation (MTA)
• Short-term Accommodation including respite (STA)

Cost

The services provided at Curraghmore are funded through residents’ NDIS Funding.
