Child Inclusive Mediation

Child Inclusive Mediation provides a safe way of communicating your child’s feelings to assist in decision-making after changes to the family situation.

Our child consultants are skilled and accredited practitioners who possess a range of qualifications, training and experience in working with children’s needs following their parents’ separation.

All consultants have acquired post-graduate qualifications in family dispute resolution.

The role of the child consultant is to:
– provide a neutral space for your child to share their feelings and experiences of their family’s situation
– communicate your child’s feelings in a safe and constructive way to both parents
act impartially and independently to bring your child’s voice into the mediation process

Who this service is for

Child Inclusive Mediation may be suitable for children from the age of five (5) onwards, and is available for parents of children who are already engaged in mediation with us. Both parents must give their consent, and it is not appropriate for all family situations.
