Breastfeeding Support Groups
The Australian Breastfeeding Association has a number of support groups across Tasmania.
You can come along and meet new friends, chat to and get hints and tips from other mothers who’ve ‘been there’ and talk to a trained, volunteer breastfeeding counsellor if needed.
Our groups offers information, encouragement and support to the local community in breastfeeding and skilled and loving mothering.
Our volunteers facilitate gatherings for mothers, run Parenting Facilities at key community events, and offer community education sessions to health professionals, schools and other community groups.
Our gatherings are casual, confidential and supportive and all mothers, mothers-to-be and support people are very welcome.
